Name:  Steve Craig

BIO:  Steve manages his own law firm in his hometown of Canton. He also serves as the legal counsel for the OHSAA, as well as the OHSAA Foundation.
 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Gene Ford

BIO:  Gene is an Ohio native who was a highly successful high school basketball coach in the state for nearly 30 years. He spent the last 24 years as the head coach at Cambridge High School, where he also served as the school’s dean of students.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Tom Hamilton

BIO:  Tom Hamilton, the "Voice of the Indians," entered his 19th season of calling Cleveland Indians baseball games on radio in 2008. In his 18 seasons since 1990, Hamilton has called 57 postseason games for the Tribe from 1994-99 and 2001, including 1995 and 1997 World Series. A four-time recipient of the Ohio Sportscaster of the Year Award, Tom also does television basketball broadcasts for the Big Ten Conference on ESPN.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Tom Hof

BIO:  Tom Hof has been a member of the Ohio State Department of Athletics since October of 1994. He was promoted to Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Affairs in the spring of 2006. His responsibilities include all athletics department fund raising activities, marketing and promotions, ticketing, athletic communications and premium seating programs. Hof is a member of the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics, the National Association of Athletic Development Directors, the Gahanna School District Business Advisory Council, and the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Bill Hosket

BIO:  Following a 30-year career in the paper industry, Bill is currently a partner in the insurance agency of Hosket, Smith & Ulen and works as an analyst with the Big Ten Network. As Ohio’s High School Player of the Year, Bill led Dayton Belmont to the state championship and later captained Ohio State to a Big Ten championship and a Final Four appearance. The former Academic All-American then played on a Gold Medal U.S. Olympic team and was also a member of the New York Knicks NBA World Championship team. Bill is a member of The Ohio State University Athletic Hall of Fame and was named to the charter class of the Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame. In 1998, Bill was named President of the OHSAA Foundation and then served as the Foundation’s first executive director from 2004 to 2007.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Jim Lachey

BIO:  Jim is an analyst with the Ohio State Football Radio Network and serves as the VP of Football Operations and Line Coach for the 2007 AFL National Conference Champs. A former football standout, he was a six-time NFL All-Pro with Washington and helped the Redskins win Super Bowl XXVI in 1992. Jim helped St. Henry win a state basketball title and was a state runner-up in the shot put before becoming at All-American in football at Ohio State. In 1999, Jim was selected into The Ohio State Sports Hall of Fame and is on the ballot for the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  John Muhlbach

BIO: John, the president of the Foundation Board, is a graduate of Massillon Washington High School and The Ohio State University. He was the starting center for the 1968 Ohio State national championship football team. He has been an insurance agent for thirty five years and is currently serving as Vice-President of the AA Hammersmith Insurance Agency in Massillon, Ohio. He serves in various capacities on corporate and not for profit boards.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Clair Muscaro

BIO:  Clair was selected as an Assistant Commissioner of the OHSAA in 1984 and was appointed the eighth Commissioner in 1990. He served in this position until his retirement in August, 2004, which marked his 48th year of service in education. As Commissioner, he founded the OHSAA Foundation and its Student Leadership Conferences and Scholarship Program. Prior to joining the OHSAA, he served as a high school teacher, coach, athletic director and principal for 28 years in northeast Ohio after completing two years of military service. He played college basketball at West Virginia Tech and is a member of its Athletic Hall of Fame, as well as other Ohio High School Halls of Fame. He also holds a Master’s Degree from Kent State University.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Dan Ross

BIO:  Dan became the ninth commissioner of the OHSAA in August, 2004. Prior to joining the OHSAA, he spent 30 years as a school administrator, including 21 as a superintendent at three different school districts. He also has experience as a college instructor, in manufacturing, as a coach, and as a contest official in basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Dan was recently inducted into the OHSAA Officials Hall of Fame. A Portsmouth native, Dan earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Ohio Dominican and Xavier, respectively, and a doctorate from Bowling Green State.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Jack Schrom

BIO:  Jack is a native of Youngstown and a graduate of Ohio University. He is president and owner of JFS Properties, a Columbus-based sports marketing, marketing consulting, and broadcast company. Jack is the executive producer of the Ohio State coaches’ shows. A former vice president of marketing and public relations for the Pittsburg Pirates, he was one of the founders of Ohio State’s statewide men’s basketball television network and is regarded as one of the nation’s premier individuals in the area of sports marketing.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Jerry Snodgrass

BIO:  Jerry is the athletic administrator at Findlay High School and is in this 30th year in education. He has served as a teacher, coach, and administrator at Defiance, Morral Ridgedale and Bryan before moving to Findlay in 1983. Jerry currently serves on the OHSAA Northwest District Athletic Board and has served as a tournament manager for various levels of tournaments in golf, soccer, volleyball, baseball, basketball and football. In addition to his athletic duties, Jerry has been an announcer and color analyst for WTLW-TV in Lima, being recognized by the District 8 Coaches’ Association as its Media Award winner in 2003.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Ron Stokes

BIO:  A Canton native, Ron played his high school basketball at Canton McKinley High School before moving on to Ohio State (1981-85), where he was a two-year captain and team most valuable player as a senior. Ron started with 1460 WBNS radio 10 years ago as a pre- and post-game basketball analyst for the Ohio State radio broadcast. He is now entering his 7th year as the color analyst for the Ohio State men's basketball games. Ron has over 17 years experience in the printing and advertising business. He also is a member of the OHSAA Diversity Council.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Amy Taylor-Sheldon

BIO:  Amy is in her 12th year as an English teacher and girls’ varsity basketball coach at Wynford High School in Bucyrus. A Bellaire native, she was named Associated Press Division III girls Basketball Coach of the Year in 2003 when she took the Royals to their first state tournament. Previously she has coached junior high, freshmen, and JV volleyball and softball. She is married to David Sheldon, the athletic director and boys’ basketball coach at Colonel Crawford High School.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Rock Van Fossen

BIO:  Rock's career in education has been divided between the Strasburg-Franklin and Sandy Valley Local School Districts where he served as a teacher, head basketball coach, high school principal, and superintendent. He currently is serving as an assistant administrator in the Sandy Valley Local Schools. Rock has served on the East District Athletic Board for 22 years and was elected to the OHSAA State Board of Control in 1996 and 2002 and served as its president during both terms.

 

 
     
           
 

Name:  Duane Warns

BIO:  Duane recently retired after 17 years as an Assistant Commissioner with the OHSAA. Prior to joining the OHSAA staff in 1990, he served as a teacher and coach at his alma mater Hopewell-Loudon High School and as a teacher, coach, athletic administrator, assistant principal and then principal at Bellevue Senior High School. He coached basketball, baseball, and track and field at Hopewell-Loudon and then went on to coach basketball, baseball, track and field, and junior high football at Bellevue. Duane completed 26 years of service to Bellevue Senior High School before moving to Columbus to join the OHSAA staff.
